Website ordered to pay penalty

Mofile.com, a video Website operated by a local company, was ordered to pay 20,000 yuan (US$2,930) to 50,000 yuan in compensation to five companies for copyright infringement by the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court yesterday.

The Website offered popular TV serials online.
